The Complainant is the owner in Canada of the GRAND MARNIER
trademark, first registered in 1973 for use in association with liquor. The
Registrant registered the Domain Name in 2009 and did not respond to the
Complaint.
The Panel found that the Domain Name was registered in bad
faith because the web site featured links to ‘alcohol drink recipes’ and other
content suggesting it was intended to compete with the Complainant for internet
traffic.
